Manimal the next generation??? This jewel of a picture turned up in the shots that Quaid took at the ULM game. It appears that Little Manimal may have spent a little too long in the Chicken the night before, or perhaps he's practicing for his turn at the helm of the Short Bus... Either way Hunter Wilhelm '24 is destined for many years of Partying on the Short Bus!

 

Miami Game

A contingent of the Tailgating Crew attended the Miami game and has returned home safely. Substituting SouthBeach for Northgate and Mango's for the Dixie Chicken before a game may seem like a whale of a deal but believe me... The folks at the Orange Bowl and surrounding area can take the fun out of it real fast. ESPN would have done better to broadcast the "Eminem Gangsta Wannabe" contest going on in the stands. Regardless, the game is behind us, Exhibition Season is over, and it's on to Big XXII play. Finally.

 

 

 

GigEmBus Message Board

If you're part of the Tailgating Crew (or any regular for that matter) and you haven't been visiting the Message Board - then your ears should be burning because you're probably being talked about over there! Everyone should go over and register... the banter is picking up and it will only intensify when football season kicks off. You should check it out as a matter of self defense.

 

Important Changes in Gameday Parking

Lot 67, where the Short Bus parks will no longer be available on a $10/per day basis. Texas A&M Transportation services is selling season long passes for Lots 67 & 68 as Tailgate Package A for the price of $175 per season. There will still be daily parking across the street and at the AGEN shops further north. Anyone who wishes to purchase a season long pass may do so from Transportation Services at their website.

Congratulations to Robby J...

Robert Jordan '95 is the first to step up to the plate and volunteer to take a specific game. Robby and his crew of chefs will be warming up the hot dog weenies at the Kansas game. We're all looking forward to it.
